Red Wolves Chapter

I've got a fair amount of Space Wolves on their sprues as I think it's one of the most versatile kits GW have produced (until the Sternguard Kit of course).

It's got everything you could need and you'll have plenty of bits left over.

My question is this...

Could I use the Space Wolf Models for Marines from the Red Wolves Chapter?

http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Wolves

Their iconography is incredibly similar, yet not much is known about them.

Do you think anyone would object to me using the models for a Vanilla list?

I'm also thinking that I could use the army as Vanilla Marines or Space Wolves as they would have the same iconography, just change which book I'm using to stop me getting bored so quickly and make sure my opponent knows before hand.

Can't hurt can it?

Red Wolves Chapter

I do this with my own custom chapter (Castellans of Dorn, a sea-green/grey colour with gold detailing). I used both vanilla marines and wolf pieces to make my units, and I run them as both Wolves and vanilla marines without any problems. Only thing is you can't run them allied to each other as that gets people grumbling, so as much as I'd like to run my Wolves with additional sternguard and a hunter or storm talon, I can't because they are all the same paint scheme.
