I have 9 pods 5 on first turn, I will bring down the four tactical squads, and sternguard squad with Tigurius on first turn, with the devastators behind the defense line. I will be able to twin link all five squads that come down first turn with the chapter traits, and Tiguris warlord trait. Probably 1 vehicle from the 2 melta squads (unless you're against Eldar). Maybe a 10 man MEQ between both the tac squads (assuming everything in rapid fire range you kill 8.7 MEQ between both squads).

The Sternguard could kill another tank or put 13.33 AP5 wounds on something.

Sure you can hurt an army but you're not really alphastriking it. What armies are you expecting to beat with this? Tau will just intercept you as you arrive, Eldar will laugh at your melta, other Marines will shrug off your damage output and then put serious hurt on you back, Nids will assume you are canned food on free delivery. With a DP army you need to be able to put serious damage out when you alphastrike or you need lots of AV13 to shrug off intercept.
