We know nothing about the Alpha Legion and probably never will so whatever for them.

As stated, Word Bearers already went through a purge off-camera.

Thousand Sons were a special case, of course. In their case, it was the Imperium that attacked them (from their point of view).

That really just leaves the Iron Warriors as unaccounted for or explained, I think. If they did do a purge, they obviously missed a few spots. and after the Iron Warriors said meh, the traitors said "Yeah, Dorn and the Imperial Fists mentioned how the defenses they build on Terra are impregnable and you Iron Warriors wouldnt even attempt to breach them."




key point. The Night Lords dont worship chaos, and they were already on the out after massacring a planet. The cult legions are defined by worthiping a god, if you dont worship them then you are gonna get purged. Without the traitors having a few more stumbles along the way it seems like everything is theirs to lose.
