Mek can't 'fix' the lascannon as it cannot fix wounds. Only Immobilized vehicles and weapon destroyed results on vehicles. Your Mek needs to be in the BW for the 5+ cover save bubble. As noted by Shamanlord and skycapt, it's still an illegal list. You need another HQ and two more Troops.

That it's a 2k list is really surprising, though. By looking at it I thought it would be somewhere around 1500.

It's far from a cheesy list, even with the illegal choices, and I'd go so far as to say it's a pretty bad list.
