Strategy: Basically this army is designed to hit were it wants, and be able to respond to my opponents deployment. If needed I can outflank/reserve a vast majority of the army and not be concerned with the toughness of what is left. On the flip side I can devastate a side of the battlefield and leave a portion of my opponents army completely out of position. BA bring something unique and unexpected. Mobile cover saves which my Tau can take advantage of despite not being BB. While also bringing tough troops. With the number of snipers and the Tau support units, I believe I can deal with Wraithknights and riptides. And with just a little bit of luck, i can snag some free kills by people under rating (being ignorant of) the BA codex powers. FYI, I realize that missile drones are great for broadsides. But I can't put them into my Bastion and protect them from opposing firepower if I give them drones. So no drones.
