It drops at minimum 8 pie plates a turn, with a 9th from the psyker battle squadron if I choose to send another <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(171);'>ST</span>: 9, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>: <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>D6</span> rather than weaken resolve.  <br /> Coupled with that, I've got the two vendetta borne 6 man fire teams with a demo charge, and the Chimera Veteran squad w/ plasma and a demo charge there as well.  At most, it can dish out 12 ordinance templates a turn, all at minimum <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(171);'>ST</span>: 8. <br /> <br /> I should clarify this is sort of a competitive list with an eye on having fun more than being competitive.  I've noticed the current meta has a hard time dealing with high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> targets, especially when you factor in defenses and the proliferation of cover saves out there, so four front armor 14 vehicles, especially if they're set up behind an Aegis Defense line would be a tough nut to crack without getting really close with meltaguns or multimeltas. <br /> <br /> Range is a non-issue for the most part, with the battlecannons reaching to the next table over and the griffons having the same range as a lascannon, I can hammer my target with pie from across the yard without issue, provided I've got line of sight.  Dealing with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> 14 with this list will be tricky, I realize.  But hopefully the Vendettas will be able to put a dent in things with the infantry lascannons adding to the refrain.  Lastly, lots of 2+ saves will be tricky to deal with, but between the demo charges sprinkled throughout the list, the plasma fire team I hope to be able to put enough damage on a hard target to let attrition win the day.<br /> <br /> Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks in advance and have a good one guys.<br /> <br /> -Red__Thirst-<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I love dropping pie plates, quick question though, why snipers in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> and why griffons rather than a higher <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>, solely because of points?<br /> <br /> I'd drop the special weapons squads as they're squishy and weak, and then maybe those points can go towards another psyker blast.]]></description>

They land, hit a squad with flamers, and drop a demolition charge on a target sitting on an objective.  They are weak, yes, but they're cheap objective squatter squads and are scoring, unlike a second Psyker battle squad.  That and I wanted something to jump out of the vendettas. <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> The griffons are cheap, and tremendously effective.  I mean amazingly effective in the times I've run them, they've almost always been MVP.  They put out wounds like nobodies business for their points, and with the reroll scatter, they are incredibly accurate to boot.  The lower <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> thing is where the battlecannons come in to play, also.<br /> <br /> Lastly, I may yet pull the sniper rifles out of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span>, but I had 10 points left over and and I like the sniper rifles better than another heavy weapon or special weapon in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> (Also it's easier to conceal them  vs. a heavy weapon team).<br /> <br /> I appreciate the thoughts, sorry about forgetting to mention those special weapons squads are in vendettas. <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Take it easy. <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> -<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(115);'>RT</span>- <br /> <br /> ]]></description>
