First of all you have to take out the point cost. Second of all you need another troop choice. The scouts bring them down to 5 people and take out one assault squad.
I can't give much advice on the list, but a caveat for any future reviewers; Korvydae is a Forge World guy who makes Assault Marines troops, so he's actually got 5 scoring units as opposed to two.

I was gonna say something about AA but then I saw the 'ignore it thing'.

Personally the Thundefire Cannons don't feel particularly RG to me, but that's just a niggly little fluff thing, and from a game perspective it makes sense.

deadmuppet wrote:2 scoring units?

5 Actually, 6 with my minor edit.

fvaldes wrote:First of all you have to take out the point cost. Captain Korvydae makes Assault Squads troops, so I do not need a second mandatory troop choice. I will however drop the scouts down to 5 as a friend suggested I save 70 points from scouts and 70 points from the devastator squad filler and make a new outflanking 10 man tactical squad.

Gabriel Santar wrote:I can't give much advice on the list, but a caveat for any future reviewers; Korvydae is a Forge World guy who makes Assault Marines troops, so he's actually got 5 scoring units as opposed to two.

I was gonna say something about AA but then I saw the 'ignore it thing'.

Personally the Thundefire Cannons don't feel particularly RG to me, but that's just a niggly little fluff thing, and from a game perspective it makes sense.

Yep, good eye on the Korvydae. As for Flyers, I know it is a bit ballsy to just ignore that part of the game but in a list as aggressive as this one where I am assaulting in theory on turn 2, I think that even against heldrakes I may be able to entangle myself enough to get out of being shot. Whether that is totally viable is yet to be determined.

The TFC are not exactly fast assault elements, but I figure that they are the heaviest support firepower that can be drop podded in, so reasonably speaking a RG (Revilers actually) force of this size could include a couple.
