				<title>1500 Points Ultramarines </title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Ok, this is also my first post here so be gentle.  This is a list made of most of the stuff I think seems fun<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> = 175 points<br /> Terminator Captain - Burning Blade<br /> <br /> Troops = 467 points<br /> 2X 10 Man Space Marine Tactical Squad - Rhino/Plasma Gun/Heavy Bolter/Sergeant with Bolt Pistol Close Combat Weapon (200 points)<br /> 1X 5 Man Scout Squad - 4 Sniper Rifles/1 heavy bolter (67 points)<br /> <br /> Elites = 390 Points<br /> 1 X 5 man Terminator Squad -  1 Assault Cannon, 1 chainfist (225 points)<br /> 1 Dreadnought - Assault Cannon/Heavy Flamer / drop pod (165 points)<br /> <br /> Fast Attack -=145 points<br /> Stormtalon Gunship - Typhoon Missile Launcher (145 points)<br /> <br /> Heavy Support = 325 points<br /> Predator Tank - heavy bolter side sponsons - 95 points<br /> 1 X 3 Man Centurion Devistator Squad - 3 Heavy Bolter/3 Chest Missile Luancher/1 Omniscope<br /> <br /> 1502 Points<br /> If its tournament type rules then the omniscope can be removed from the centurions to get the list to underneath the 1500 points max.<br /> <br /> <br /> The plan is the scouts and the centurions find a good position to lay down fire support for the tactical marines, they run up to the objectives in their metal boxes or use their metal boxes to provide cover.  The predator tank provides local covering fire for the rhinos while they are on the move then looks to use tank shock to push enemy scoring units off objectives.  The captain, terminators, and dreadnought deepstrike to objectives in the enemy deployment zone or just to wherever they can do the most damage and then start shooting with their assault cannons.  Although they cannot assault on the turn they deepstrike they can in subsequent turns and if they get assaulted the captain with the burning blade adds a lot of high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>init</span>/high strength attacks.  The stormtalon's dual roles make it the perfect air support fr this list.  It either gets rid of enemy flyers or turns into a flying tank hunting copter. So, I guess that makes the list a mobile gunline.<br /> <br /> I know that this list is not really great against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQs</span>, but it seems like it would be good against armies that don't save on a 3+.  I know that the heavy bolter is not anybodies favorite in this edition but I did the math a long time ago and found that unless you get no scatter 3 shots from a heavy bolter is almost always better than the small template because unless your opponent bunches up a lot you usually only hit 2 guys anyway.   And in this editon the bolters in the tactical squads can snap shot.<br /> <br /> Anyway, this list may be just a beerhammer list but  I wanted to see what people thought of it here.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>
