Bikers support this squad while trying to hunt vehicles... Bloodletters stay in reserve to deep strike near the crushers. 15 marines and 20 cultist rush into combat and try to take objectives... We usually play with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> blocking terrain so that is helpful. What would you do for a pure khorne army??]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I've never played Maulerfiends personally, but the several times I have seen them played they get immobilized and then ignored for the rest of the game.<br /> <br /> I know people give them a bad rap, but have you considered mutilators?  Deepstrike 2-3 of them split into single units within charging distance of something and force them to either kill it during their turn, diverting fire from your other units, or be assaulted next turn.<br /> <br /> Also, your lord can't go with the Blood Crushers because he doesn't have the daemonic instability special rule (but it would be awesome if he did.)<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The Maulerfiend has an undeserved bad rep.<br /> There is only 1/6 chance to get immobilised "IF" he get penetrated, which could only happen at most 3 times per maulerfiend "IF" he doesnt get an explosion result AND no glancing hits, only penetration hits. <br /> Odds are bad of him getting a immobilized even having 2 of them on the board, and if he does get it while being in close combat he can still fight. i see it as it being similar (less bad tho) to being open-top: an extra 1/6 chance of him becoming a useless wreck if getting a penetration hit... if it was by shooting and not close combat.     <br /> <br /> To get them to earn their points you gotta saturate the board with big boys that seem scarier than the maulerfiend. given their bad rep they shouldnt be too high on the opponents priority list if you have greater demons, soulgrinders, deamon princes, heldrakes and juggerlord. Vindicators are great at distracting the opponent too, and are relatively cheap.<br /> <br /> Bloodcrushers arent worth their points if you ask me, their Toughness of 4 is too easy to breach for how expensive they are, the opponent will shoot 6 str8+ shots at them and make a quick 180pts plus a kill point.<br /> I do really like the juggernaught models so I use them as nurgle spawns(no bloodletters on them tho), them being beast of living metal fits well with their T6 I find. I know you are going for Khorne so maybe just unmarked spawns (they already have Rage so no use paying points for it) joining your juggerlord, giving him an escort to avoid him being shot down.  <br />   <br /> also the Warpsword is way overpriced on the soulgrinder, 25pts for one extra attack is too much.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yea, bloodcrushers did get nerfed hard, though i have been trying to get them use, because I love the models. I do recomend investing in things like the icon of wrath, in a game of random charge ranges, a reroll is very helpful. <br /> <br /> I agree on not taking the warpsword on your soul grinder, and I think you have the points off on the grinder, should be 180 for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(769);'>DoK</span>, sword, baleful torrent.<br /> <br /> One key to playing all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> is to get to your opponent fast, so I would recomend spawn to go with your lord, T5 beasts are scary. the flesh hounds are also a good investment from daemons. <br /> <br /> I have no experience with maulerfiends, but my experiences with AV12 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> walkers makes me think they might not be worthwhile except against tanks. <br /> <br /> Good luck with trying it out, and have fun with the khorne theme.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ the Maulerfiend will obliterate most vehicules he gets close to, he is faster than any othe walker out there (teleporting Dreadknight being the exception) he can also really hurt elite dudes like Terminators.<br /> Maulerfiends have 3 ATT, 4 on charge and will get 2 more autohits for hitting at least once and 4 extra autohits for hitting on all attacks, ok, hes never going to hit on all attacks but he does have a lot more attack then what you can think of originally by seeing his 2 Att profile.<br /> <br /> Balefull torent on the Soulgrinder is pretty good but I find the issue with the deamons is the lack of long range shots. the phlegme bombardment is better in my point of view ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ a footslogging list needs long range shooting to distract the opponent from shooting your khorne marines before they get to close combat, a  Soulgrinder with phlegm bombardment would be particularly important in a list like your second list dude. (consider the nurgle alignment, I know its a khorne list but getting shrouded will turn this thorn in your opponents side into a barbed dagger in his ribs. you can pretty easily make him have a 2+cover save which will make him as tough as 3 soulgrinders of khorne, so worth the 15pts and damage to fluff)  <br /> <br /> This list could do well against certain lists, but will fail miserably against others. (gunlines most of all, mech gunlines will probably finish your dudes without any loss if the opponent is good) <br /> <br /> maybe consider teams of 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> in rhinos (for protection and speed) and also lowering the team of bloodletters to 15,  taking out the team of cultist and use the points saved for a soulgrinder, and then a bunch of fleshhounds since they are quite good and are fast so can close the distance with the mauler fiends and juggerlord with bikes. Maybe a second heldrake if you dont want  the fleshhounds<br /> <br /> this would give you some long range shooting and much more speed to avoid letting your opponent shoot at you too much, deepstrike the bloodletters to keep them off the board for the first turn, move flat out with the rhinos to get them into position, and charge forward with everything else other than the soulgrinder who gives cover fire.<br /> <br /> this way your list would be able to deal with even gunline lists, it still doesnt shoot too much but it does a bit at least and is much faster and sneakier.<br /> <br />   <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The 10 cultists WILL get crushed as most weaponry can instant death them. What is your plan with them? Just to hold an objective or just to fill up points? If I were you I would not take 10 cultists because it is an easy first blood for your opponent and they WILL not do a lot unless die. I would take a rhino or more bikers/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>csm</span>. <br /> Even though this list is very Khorne heavy (listed on your topic) I would recommend mark of NURGLE instead of mark of khorne. Put mark of nurgle on bikers, make them s6, hard as heck to kill and still dish out alot of firepower.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I believe he is using the bikers as an escort for the axe of blind fury Juggerlord, they need to be Khorne, and T6 isnt nearly as important on models that only have one wound. <br /> <br /> Nurgle marks are really important on Chaos spawns for this reason (it makes them tougher and basicly gives them eternal warrior on top of it) but bikers dont benefit from it as much<br /> <br /> Also as mentionned in my previous post I also recomend the nurgle mark on the Soulgrinder since making him have shrouded and defensive grenades is insanely good.]]></description>
