Painting Thousand Sons

I am starting a Thousand Sons project and have a few questions on how I should do the blue armor. I want it to be as close to the blue in the codes as possible, but also not be overly difficult and include lots of blending.

So I was thinking;
Prime - Black
Base - Macragge Blue
Wash - Darkendorf Nightshade (spelling?)
Layer/Dry brush - Altdorf Guard Blue
Highlight - Lothern Blue/Fenrision Grey

How you think that process would work? I plan on doing a test subject this weekend but figured in would get opinions as well.

Also does anybody have experience with the Macragge Blue spray can?

And what is I primed the models with Army Painters Ultramarine Blue?

If you download the How to Paint Tactical Marines guide that GW put up for free on itunes for ipad and I think other ereaders it has almost that exact same process for ultramarine armor. The only difference being the altdorf is done on the gun for one of the sucessor chapters and not the model of the tactical marine. But it should give you a fairly good idea of what the end result color palette can look like.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
If you download the How to Paint Tactical Marines guide that GW put up for free on itunes for ipad and I think other ereaders it has almost that exact same process for ultramarine armor.
