Did anyone else think that the off hand killing, as in plot wise, of Nemiel by the Lion was rather, disapointing?

All the progression that went into the character twined with Zahariel, at how they were more than brothers, but also had a naging rivalry between them and seemed distined to become enemies in the end. They seemed to take, or forced to take, different sides on the whole fallen issue. So I had always seen them fighting it out when the Lion came back to Caliban.

Instead we got a few non-character feeling lines from before he died. Did anyone else think the same, or don't you care his plot armour was thin because you thought the character was gak?

I Guess that as Zahariel is one of the outcasts on Caliban there will be some kind of reckoning between the two

But yeah, he was a decent character and to have him off'd in such a silly way seemed a waste, it really made him rather pointless ever being mentioned. I don't think the BL authors like the early DA books in the HH series very much

It was funny as hell, I'll say that.

Nemiel himself wasn't really interesting to me, but his relationship to Zahariel, a character I really like, was, and I was looking forward to seeing how their relationship would develop once the nature of Zahariel's treachery was made apparent.

the worst part is definitely how out of character Nemiel was acting in The Lion, leading to Jonson karate chopping his head off, as opposed to, I dunno, detaining him?
