Should take the heat off the advancing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>jp</span> death co with astorath. By turn 2 the enemy will have 32 death co models plus astorath assaulting them with 2 ravens and 2 tri melta squads supporting (minus casualties and 1&2 on reserve rolls.) At least with the aim of tabling or destroying all scoring units im not giving up all chance of victory.<br /> <br /> Fun to play? But if it doesn't table or kill all scoring units it loses. Where as if a normal <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> force doent table it can still win.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You put too many points in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>'s and have only<br /> 10 scoring models (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>btw</span>, how were you planning to get 2 meltas in the Assault squads?)<br /> <br /> 2000 points of any shooting army will wreck those <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>'s in a single turn so that's not much of a distraction.<br /> Survive that however and you might have decent chances against any army.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for your reply!<br /> The point isnt scoring units. The assault squads aren't there to score but to provide more drops. The sole aim is to table or wipe out all opponents scoring units. Hence far higher chance of losing but lots of fun!<br /> You're right I can only have 1 melta per 5 men so need to rethink that (totally forgot that my tri melta units were due to combat squadding). <br /> You are spot on - I have invested a lot in dc spec <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>ccws</span>. Ive been thinking since that it would make more sense to drop some for more dc.<br /> So dropping 2 meltaguns from assault, 2pfs and 2pas from death cos will net me 100pts enabling me to take the pod units up to 10 each. No scoring so forces me to go for the table. But with 44 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> it is more dooable than most lists (still no hugley likely). If I don't manage it I pretty much auto lose. Its not going to get higher than a 50% win rate in a million years. But it is fluffy. If not - theor own units/ range of far flank guns will prevent them bringing their full firepower to bear turn 1 or even 2.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Just rooted out my dex. There goes me thinking I knew the dex off by heart and gives me a lesson in making a list in my head without checking it. Yes you're right, you need 5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> per infernus. Its powerfists/ weapons/ thunder hammers you can have as many as you like of. Damn! That scuppers the entirity of my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> plan.<br /> AND ive undercosted the infernus' by 5pts each. Facepalm!<br /> Although against any tank with rear armour of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>av</span> 10 or 11 (most tanks) a dc charge will still wipe them out. 				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the update :-). I've just posted an option of 3 lists without the ravens that ignore fliers at 1850. All weaker than this one I think but I liked the idea of more bodies on the table to represent a wave of dc. Plus I found it difficult to reduce this list by 150pts without taking off a raven. I would definitely run the above list over the 3 ive posted if playing at 2k. As its stronger yet just as fun and fluffy.]]></description>
