				<title>1000 Point Raven Guard Successor List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hello Dakka, about a week ago i had a post asking for help on how to expand from 500 points with my Revilers. Here is what i got.<br /> Note: This IS NOT for tournaments, and will be mostly friendly games, so i'm not interestid in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(323);'>WAAC</span> units. I own half of this list already, but any advice on how to keep it similar, but more effective would be great!<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> Space Marine Captain w/ Bike, Power Sword =125<br /> Troops<br /> 10 man Tactical Squad w/ Flamer, Heavy Bolter, Rhino = 190<br /> 10 man Tactical Squad w/ Plasma gun, Heavy Bolter, Combi Plasma, Rhino = 210<br /> 5 man Scout Squad w/ 4x Sniper Rifles, Missile Launcher, Camo Cloaks = 84<br /> 5 man bike Squad w/ 2xGrav Guns = 135<br /> Fast Attack<br /> Stormtalon Gunship w/ Skyhammer Missiles = 125<br /> Heavy Support<br /> 5 man Devastator Squad w/ 2x Plasma Cannon, 2x Missile Launcher = 130<br /> <br /> My main concern in the devastators being a prime tagret, i have thought about dropping the scouts in order to boost the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> to 10 men and spend the rest on captain upgrades.<br /> <br /> I'm using Ravenguard tactics, but not taking full advantage with the bikes, would an assault or vanguard squad be a better substitute?<br /> <br /> Thanks!<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You've over costed your scouts by 10pts too unless you forgot to write camo cloaks. All in all its a nice rounded list. And I do like grav bikers, wouldnt trade them out personally.<br /> Trade out the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> in the plasma squad for somthing with lower <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> for better synergy. Also I would go all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PC</span> or all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> in your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span>. You're right - a couple more bodies in the squad wilp help to soak up fire without reducing effectiveness.<br /> Instead you could drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squad completely for another talon to firm up your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span>. The 5 points saved means you could upgrade the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> to a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PC</span> for a total plasma squad. Just another option. I think both are as viable.]]></description>

I plan to stick the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> in cover, and with having stealth for 1 turn will hopefully let them all get at least one round of shooting in before they start to drop down. I think the bikers will probably draw some fire away wile <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> efforts focus on the rhinos.]]></description>
