1850 Grey Knights

Coteaz
4x10 Strike Squad, 2 psycannons, 1 hammer, psybolts
4x Razorbacks, assault cannons, psybolts
3x Rifle Dreads, Psybolts

The plan is to try and solve all problems with weight of fire. 16 twin-linked S7 rending shots and another 32 S7 rending shots (16 if moving); backed up with 12 S8 twin-linnked shots. Small arms fire dishing out 64 S5 shots.

Are the rifle dreads worth it, or should I swap for 2 Storm Ravens?

-Matt

I don't think RB's are better in this situation. You can still fire 2 Psycannons out of the top of Rhino, giving you the same number of shots for less than half the points. Granted not TL, but sitting gives you more shots (or against flyers).

It also adds some survivability without loosing much firepower. You can put all of your guys inside for one to save against hell-turkey's. You can also use the flat-out move to block LOS once they're out of the vehicle. Doing that with the Razonback is a lot more wasted points.

Switching all 4 to Rhino's will save you just enough to get a Purifier squad with 2 Psycannons and Rhino. You could also move a Hammer from the SS to the Purifier (giving you 2 Hammers there) and have them try and be a counter assault unit, with just as much firepower while inside the Rhino.

I would switch for SR as you need some more reliable AA and AP2, Dreads are good against vehicles but you have enough Psycannons.

I agree with the above as well.

I think the Ravens are basically the only good anti-flyer power that the GK's have.
An aegis line works okay, but it does not fit well with the rest of the GK game plan of mobile shooting

"Psy"-cannon razorbacks are only okay. I would either go for Rhinos for the mobility for your 10 man units, or go for the cheap HB-psybolt razorbacks for more 36" shooting. You GK should have plenty of 24" shooting already.

A small purifier unit in a rhino with coteaz joined to it is going to be very effective. re-roll to hit psycannon out of the top of the Rhino. Re-roll to hit in the combat phase with lots of attacks.

Where is the hammer in your Strike Squads?
I would not put a hammer on a Character. INT 1 on a model with only a 3+ save is a bit risky in a challenge. Halberds are very good on GK Sarges because they can threaten other larger characters with INT6 ID,
