Tyranid 1500 point Warrior/DS heavy

I've been thinking, now that I have my three Mycetic Spores built, that I should build a drop heavy list. I have enjoyed success with deep strike, outflank heavy armies in the past but have only recently tried Spores, using the Doom only. I now have 3 spores, and being that I have a certain affinity for Warriors, would like to try dropping them in.

Thinking something along these lines:

-9 Warriors, one barbed strangler
-Spore, deathspitter
=335

-9 Warriors, one barbed strangler
-Spore, deathspitter
=335

-Tyrant, hive commander, lw/bs, tldev, wings
=245

-20 Termagants, or the Doom?
-Spore

-Tervigon
-Outflanking thanks to Hive Commander

***

I am not sure whether to run the Doom, or Termagants, and what I should take on the Tervigon. I will likely throw in 10 Gargoyles as well, and possibly a Mawloc or Trygon. It's pretty malleable at this point, but I would like your opinions on what I should finish this one up with! As above, I would like to be able to drop in wherever I need to. Cheers!

Well what's you meta? Lots of S 8 weaponry? If not, the warriors will be cool..

Don't do a single Mawloc. When unsupported it goes down without a fight. But now thinking of it, that would leave your warriors unscathed for that turn.

I approve the list. Looks fun and breaks the typical Tyranid mold

I would say save the points of HC and avoid outflanking the Tervigon. Start it on the board so your Tyrant doesn't go down immediately.

There's not a lot of S8, luckily. I might consider two Mawlocs, they are best in pairs for sure. The goal is to overwhelm castles, be mobile, and hold objectives with fearless troops. Tervigon was for a board edge objective, flyrant and Mawloc for rapid redeployment and threatening anywhere.

Hive commander does add 1 to reserve rolls, so I feel it's useful to ensure most reserves arrive same-turn. If I can put 60 t4 wounds in my opponents' lines, then that might be overwhelming enough. Maybe. Thanks for the input!
