Focusing on the aspects of infiltrate and outflank?<br /> The idea is to just have a good ol' flanking scenario with soldiers popping out of the wood-work to attack the enemy. <br /> -Ion Rifles for blasting side/rear armour along with str8 blasts to take care of nobz, Nid Warriors, and the like. <br /> -Steath Teams benefit from shroud/stealth while drilling the enemy infantry in 2 turns while remaining relatively safe. If need be they have the fusion blasters for addition <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> support in a pinch.<br /> -Ethereal to buff the Kroot with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> or add to their # of shots while keeping them from running away.<br /> <br /> This is pretty much a complete flip of the lists that I have been seeing, taking no vehicles or Battle Suits.<br /> <br /> What does Dakka Think? Is this too light on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> and just way too squishy?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well I was not running firewarriors, because they were not capable of the outflanking or infiltrate Procedure. Taking firewarriors kinda defeats the purpose.<br /> <br /> What I could do, is run 9 Firewarriors instead of one squad of kroot and have Darkstrider outflank with them. I would miss out on the Kroot abilities and combat-prowess, but I would gain 9 more pulse rifles.<br /> -The problem I have with this is that 12 kroot rifles &gt; 9 Pulse rifles at close range. 30&quot; Range makes no difference than 24&quot; if you are muzzle stuffing anyways. (Except for the +3&quot;, but having more guns makes up for it when both sides have the same ballistic skill)]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd like to say that Stealth Suits are actually a battlesuit in the same way that Riptides are. In the Tau Codex, it states the XV25? Stealth Suit as a battlesuit. I know you're trying to to be fluffy or not taking advantages of Crisis teams, but stealth suits are battlesuits. If they don't count, neither do Riptides. <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"> Also, with no vehicles, your army is as good as gone.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Completely disagree with the vehicles. aside from the skyray most tau players would agree that our vehicles are a bit weak in the new codex with the nerf to disruption pods and becasue you can no longer give them multi trackers to make them fast. <br /> <br /> The list seems decent but you dont have enough anti vehicle <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>. Krootox riders would fit nicely into your theme and for only 25 pts and the ability to outflank they are pretty solid. Less efficent than broadsides but then so is everything else in the codex!<br /> <br /> I'd put Darkstrider with 9-12 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span>. From my experience this is a very strong unit. the only problem with etherials with kroot is that the etherial cannot infiltrate with the kroot so you have to outflank, and then if you outflank you cannot use the etherials powers the turn you come in becasue like blessings and maledictions they need to be used before moving. Personally <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> drop em.<br /> <br /> EDIT: upon second glance you have ion on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> i thought you were using railrifles. personally im not a fan of ion <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> but you dont really need the krootox if you do so i guess. why 2 hounds each kroot unit and not 1? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I did not exactly see the point of rail rifles beyond anti-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span>, and I wanted more <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>.<br /> <br /> Why wouldn't I take 2 kroot hounds? Is 2 overkill of some sort?<br /> <br /> I should probably run <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> with darkstrider come to think of it... I got a squad of them, so why not?<br /> <br /> No ethereal? I can live with that. You have a suggestion for an alternative or use that point saving elsewhere? Like EMPs or such.]]></description>

Outflanking on your opponents table edge can be very powerful.  <br /> I agree that Darkstrider should outflank with a Firewarrior team. Give them EMP and you also have a decent <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> unit. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I've played a list similar to this and was fairly pleased with the results until the drakes showed up and I was completely wiped out.   You take hounds for the acute senses ability and you only need 1 hound to get that. If you can free up the points you can try to get shadowsun instead of your ethereal and I don't remember reading if you had sniper rounds on your kroot  ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I completely disagree with the need for vehicles. However you could do with a couple changes to fill in more shots.<br /> <br /> The ethereal would be more efficient with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span>, as would Darkstrider. At 1000pts you dont need to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, so I would drop one, probably the ethereal since your not taking <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> to maximize his buffs. <br /> <br /> What I would try is dropping a unit of Pathfinders, and maxing out your stealth squads, or adding one more. 2x6man stealth squads would spit out tons of shots with marker light support, add in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> to the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(153);'>FB</span> ones and you have a multi use per turn unit.]]></description>
