I guess some of their raiding of Imperial worlds could be to source food. As Psienesis said, some warbands would also have the traitor equivalent of agri-worlds.

I agree that some wouldn't have to eat at all. A Plague Marine probably isn't too fussed about eating, especially if his stomach is already half rotted away. However, Slaaneshis would probably be more concerned with eating, given that it might give them some sensation before they move onto warp-dust permanently.

But I guess if they had to eat and were fused into their armour, they'd have to eat through a tube. This is just self-made answer without background support: I like to imagine the EoT as a nightmare-like flowing place-time. And it only works if you look at it. It has no inner substance, no self-entity. As Chaos Gods do, it doesn't work/matter if no one is looking. Like here:

So, it has no real inner-coherence. It's like in a dream, where things flow in a surrealistic way. In the EoT, a Traitor only experiences the relevant parts of his story. Eating, going to the toilet, etc. are not relevant, so he doesn't really do it. Fighting, suffering, desiring, experiencing or despairing, hating and so on are relevant, so his full existence consists of doing this things. Hence, Eternal War, funnily flowing time, etc.

In a way, Chaos Space Marines are just and only an Imperial nightmare. But, as said, this is only my grognard point of view. It's not how things have evolved in the last twenty years of background completition, where many holes have been filled with plausible theories: where do new Traitor recruits come from?
