Word on the street is that Orks are tough to play right now (the current codex is from 4th edition, so no big surprise there), and the current metagame doesn't favor mechanized armies as much as 5th edition. That being said, Mech Orks has always been a thing, I'm sure you can do it well, and you can probably still be fairly competitive with such a list. Also, since it's a core archetype, it'll probably be better once Orks get a shiny new codex, so keep at it, mate!
