You can use the Double FOC at this point level. Minimum of 4 troops, lets you take 4 HQ's



Draigo, the Librarian and the Paladins make one big mega unit.

Draigo sits in the front of the unit taking hits with his Storm Shield as needed. He takes all of the challenges

The Librarian is only mastery 2 as you can cast 2 spells on your turn (choice of Might, Quick and Hammerhand) and 2 spells on the enemy turn (choice of Shrouding, Sanctuary, and Hammerhand)
Might and hammerhand are more STR in combat for more damage
Quicksilver lets you hit first with all of your swords while still having their 4++ for defense
Shrouding gives you a better cover save against AP 2 weapon fired at you
Sanctuary makes it hard to assault your unit. You decide who and when to charge.

This mega unit is very powerful in the shooting phase with 4 psycannons (with relentless so they always have 4 shots even if they move) with some re-rolls to hit and lots of storm bolters.
Stomp around the board, shoot stuff, fight stuff.

The apothecary is not very helpful. Your paladins have 2 wounds to deal with S7 or less stuff. They are most afraid of S8+ weapons that deal instant death to them. The FNP from the apothecary does not help against instant Death weapons. I feel it is not worth the 75 points (which is a TON) for this guy.


Coteaz and the Psycannon Inquisitor join one of the Strike Squads each.
They each take spells from the Divination lore, always swap one for the signature spell. re-rolls to hit with shooting and combat are great.
The paladin unit has all of the important stuff Master Crafted (psycannons, hammers) so they do not need the re-rolls as much, they already have them.


The Vindicare units shoots dudes dead. He is best against large tanks. (tubo penestrator is 3+4D6+Rending against tanks, AP 1 on the damage table)

The Knight can be made scoring using Draigo's Grand Strategy rule. It is fast, deadly and can hold objectives.
