Searching for specific airbrush questions on Dakka has become difficult, not just due to an inherent weakness in the search engine, but a weakness in the threads it should lead to - titles are vague, differences in/ignorance of jargon confounds search terms (how many varnish help threads would never have been, had the OP had searched "frosting," instead of "misting," "clouding," or "that horrible chalky thing that happens?"), questions come so quickly that some get thorough answers and others get glossed over, depending on who responds, etc. There's a lot of garbage to wade through before you have a good answer, if you ever find one without asking, directly.

A good, thorough sticky would give responders an out, at least - 20 seconds to link to it instead of laboriously typing the same response, again, or trying to search for your own previous posts to copy+paste. I think a section with links to (Dakka) articles, helpful threads, blog posts, Youtube video tutorials etc. broken down by topic would be a good start. An FAQ section (spoilered answers would ease navigation, I think) for the common mechanical problems sounds good, too, as does a glossary of airbrush jargon. Would be a lot of work to make a truly thorough compendium of airbrush knowledge, but a single thread allowing even a total newbie to put a finer point on their question, then answer it, themselves, sounds like worthwhile labor.

I'l see what I can pull together... potentially a long endeavour, life looks busy over the next few weeks hehe!
I might throw it out there that I don't personally have a great deal of experience airbrushing mini's in particular, rather just with airbrushes in general; I got into airbrushing to custom paint car/motorbike panels, pc cases, guitars, canvases, bedroom walls etc etc....
So the things I've picked up tend to have come from general airbrush usage rather than anything specific to our hobby.

If any one is up for a bit of contribution, a good start might be to collate the commonly asked questions, and get the answers / solutions to common problems into some sort of logical order.
And the basic outline of what things are, what they do and why you may or may not need them.
