Slowly accumulated enough stuff to have a proper army in 3rd, and played around a lot with local tourneys and the such. Once Tau came out i gathered enough for some smaller games. Unfortunately between me entering high school and 90% of the FLGS closing it had to pack it in. Was on Dakka all the time back then, getting army list ideas left and right. But quit here too when i dropped the hobby.

Flash forward 12 or 13 years and here we are today. I'm now in the US Navy (currently deployed as of this writing) and almost out of nowhere just had the urge to get back into the game. I've had it from time to time throughout the years, but resources and the such kept me from it. Now as I am wrapping up my second deployment and about to go to shore duty, I figure I'll have a decent amount of time on my handles for a hobby again. Parents still have all my old stuff (ya dont just throw away almost $10k worth of metal and a little plastic) So at least i wont be starting from scratch.

Been lurking on the forums here for a month or so, reading all the articles and just generally getting re-aquainted with the hobby in general. Its actually impressive how much the hobby as a whole has evolved. Also it seems like the community has weeded out the worst of folks so thats just bonus points.
