Tons of cleaning, some flaws / defects on them and warped plastic on arms and weapons at times. The troop Lasguns and swords are very thin and break easy. Most of these issues are on the troops.

That said they are awesome models when they are a good cast and Forgeworld have GREAT customer service and have replaced all models I have had issues with.

I love my DKK but they are very time consuming to clean.

You'll need to do slightly more cleaning work than plastic kits, but much less than finecast. Most of the casting flaws can be fixed with basic skills, and straightening warped parts is just what you expect when dealing with resin. At least materials-wise they're decent quality resin and not the crumbly junk finecast uses, so cleaning them up is just a matter of patience. If you're able to assemble plastic kits well (something that takes way more work than some people claim) then you should be able to handle DKoK.

I didn't have much trouble with my own krieg; flamers tend to be a bit bent, but easily straightened, and hold once you've straightened them (Finecast tends to re-bend, retains its flaws) it's also durable resin. Some flash, occasional mold line, but as was said, awesome customer service, and amazing model quality.

I feel slightly unwell looking at plastic cadians after building Krieg.

Their only serious flaw is the arms don't fit that well onto the bodies of normal guys, requiring a bit of adjustment and matching arms with their intended bodies.

my own issues with the DKOK is the infantry rifle ends do tend to break occasionally.

apart from that, theyre good to develop your modelling skills on and they draw eyes on the gameboard as they are beautiful models to use.

They have the most cost effective killing artillery in the game too!

There is plenty of flash on the models and you will have to bend rifles back into place. Also don't forget to give them a good soapy scrub to get mold release off.

There is no comparison between DKoK and GW's IG miniatures...... if I had to chisel each DKoK out of a resin cube, I still would.

Edit: I uploaded a fairly high-res image with some of my DKoK, take a look at my signature - zoom in and you'll see the level of detail in the miniatures
