Heavy weapon squads are also very fragile and able to be destroyed very easily. You dont have a defense line for them to hide behind to give them some cover. The mortars can hide behind stuff so you dont have to worry about them but I will guarantee that the lascannons will get picked off fast. I would drop them and make the valkyrie become a vendetta. Then upgrade some of those melta vets into plasma

Kind of stuck with the Valkyrie for now (WYSIWYG tournie), but I like the idea for future use.
Dropping the lascannon HWS, is probably a good move. that should let me upgrade to plasma.

Good call on the griffons, I completely missed that.

If you get extra lascannons just stick 2 together and magnetize them to the under wings.

Also I was talking about the PCS. They can perform different tasks, either put them in a flyer and have them drop off late game to clear an objective or have them stay on the ground and use them as a counter charge unit for your infantry squads. An enemy unit charges and wipes out a 10 man squad then these guys spring forward and burnanate the crap out of them. Either way works.

Also for your CCS if you put them in a flyer just think if it gets shot down from interceptor or sky fire you are pretty much going to lose them really quickly. I find Icarus lascannon to be better then the quadgun because I would prefer 1 s9 ap2 shot rather than 4 s7 ap4 shots. That also gives you some upgrade points left. Ran out of plasma troops that's why 3rd vet squad has a melta and 2 plasma.

Had to take out the aegis defense line (Didn't arrive yet)
