Storm Wardens

Hey there Dakkanauts, I'm going to be starting a Storm Warden SM army and I am trying to decide on how I want to do them, so far I know I want to run Vanguard Vets as the Tempest blades using the Lord Executioner model as either a squad leader or a chapter master.

http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Storm_Wardens

What are other ideas you guys think I could use? I want to make this a fun and unique army. It doesn't have to be super good in battle right now I just want a project to work on.

Get multiples of the Relic Blade bit from the new Vanguard box, or use fantasy Imperial Greatsword bits for the Sacris Clayomores. Also kilts, because kilts on space marines = win. At least on the scouts. I'd totally rock the Victoria minis bits for the scouts. Damnit now I want to build some Storm Wardens.

Re:Storm Wardens

I really like the feel behind the chapter but I am not sure how I want to stick with the theme on all the marines. I was also thinking about maybe using Khan as my HQ or Tempest Blade leader and just shave off the White Scars iconography and use a different head.

Yeah, you could easily do Woad markings on them. There is a gallery of someones counts as Space Wolves on here called... Raven Born I believe thats been done up as Celts, with tartans and paint and such, might be worth taking a look at that.
