Elites- 7 man Deathwing Knights

Troops- 7 man scouts with shotguns
10 man Tacmarines w/ m. Gun, combi-melta, multi-melta. Drop pod
10 man Tacmarines w/ flamer, combi-flamer, heavy bolter. Drop pod

Fast- 2x Nephilim Jetfighters 1las 1 avenger
3 man black knights w/grenade launcher

Heavy- 2x whirlwinds
5 man devastator 3 lascannons 1 plasma cannon or 4th lascannon and a drop pod.

Goal is turn 1 drop DK's and flame pod and melta pod.
Between the 2 libs get perfect timing and prescience, guaranteed one of those
Then have las ignore cover. B. knights are mainly to drop T for instant death threshold. Devs drop pod is just so I get the 2 Tacmarines squad get in turn one.

Pop transports then whirlwind the squad

Any ideas? Biggest flaw is not going first lol

Whirlwinds are terrible. I've tried. I've tried so so hard to make them good. They're cheap.....for a reason. I scream loudly every time I break out my DA; just howl at the moon over why we don't have access to Thunderfire Cannons...or Sternguard...or Storm Talons...or Storm Ravens......you know, everything good in the Space Marine Armory.

I've always gained well over my PTs with whirlwinds :/ bikes I've never faired well with. Like last game Libby giving a 4++ and apothecary in RW command squad took 6 hits from a wave serpent, killed 4 bikes...FML. So they are in the rear away from action just helping lascannons pop armor for whirlwinds to mop up and nephilims.
