I think the typhoons will provide both anti-tank and anti-horde, while being too numerous to destroy all of them, especially with their 5+ jink save for moving and inch to the left or right each turn.

Five scoring units of tac squads, each inside a transport for protection, and armed with flakk for anti-air, and or more anti-tank/anti-horde.

do you think I have enough firepower at 1850 to destroy enemy scoring units and threats to my own? is a turn 1 alpha strike of 35 missiles good or bad?

All constructive criticism is welcome.>

Re:Dark Angels 1850 (competetive or not?)

Its a very rock-paper-scissors list. Some armies with limited light AT might struggle, but armies with FMC spam or units designed to get in CC fast (possibly including bikers) will have a fun time playing this list.

Oh, and you will have a very hard time against a guy using Riptides. Even if every missile in your army targeted one you'd still only score about 3~ wounds on average. There's also the trick where a commander gives their S9 pie plates ignores cover and re-rolls to hit, which would be... unpleasant with your land speeders.
