				<description><![CDATA[ So after conversations in a couple of threads it got me thinking of a sanguinary guard themed list. Of models which I own all of so wouldn't require further purchase. I wanted enough immediate threats to take attention off my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> whilst also providing a target priority headache for the opponent. So this is what I came up with:<br /> <br /> Dante (obvs)<br /> Goes with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> #1 for dante bomb<br /> <br /> Librarian<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>Jp</span> (shield and sword for powers)<br /> <br /> Honour guard<br /> 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>pf</span> (the noviate is essential as he will provide a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>fnp</span> bubble for this unit and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> #2 and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> #3 as I advance.)<br /> <br /> Sanguinary priest<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>Jp</span> & power axe<br /> Goes with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> #1<br /> <br /> Sanguinary guard # 1<br /> 3 infernus pistols<br /> <br /> Sanguinary guard # 2<br /> 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>pfs</span><br /> <br /> Sanguinary guard # 3<br /> 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>pfs</span><br /> <br /> 5 man scout squad<br /> Snipers<br /> <br /> 9 man death company<br /> 2pf, bolters<br /> Pod<br /> <br /> 5 sternguard<br /> 5 combi-melta<br /> Pod<br /> <br /> Furioso<br /> Frag cannon, magna grapple, melta gun<br /> Pod<br /> <br /> 5 x Baal with flamestorm<br /> If getting 1st turn scout and flame, if second, create an av13 wall that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(337);'>HG</span> can advance behind.<br /> <br /> 2 x stormraven<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>Tl</span> assault cannon, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>tl</span> multimelta<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> mainly<br /> <br /> So turn 1 the opponent will have 2 pods (probably death co and furioso) in their back field and 5 flamestorms toasting units. Turn 2 should see 2 sang guard, the dc and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(337);'>hg</span> unit assaulting with the dante bomb just arriving and hopefully rolling well for the arrival of the sterns and ravens. Everything should be in the opponents face turn 2. If I know im not facing flyers I would drop the ravens for 20 assault marines with 4 flamers amd maybe change the furioso to a dc dread with talons. Meaning 2 sg, 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(337);'>hg</span>, 1 dc, 1 dc dread and 20 assault marines all getting the turn 2 charge, supported by 2 newly arrived melta units. If the opponent instead shoots at assault units then 5 untouched flamestorm templates will instead be roasting the enemy.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Can it work? 				<description><![CDATA[ at 3k points anything you drop in is going to get wasted.I recommend puting your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> in a Stormraven, as they can assault from it. <br /> <br /> you can pop 11 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> + an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>IC</span> and a dread in it. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I do like my raven assaults but the idea here is to give the enemy lots of target priorities on turn 1. Earliest assault for a raven assault is turn 3. It will take a reasonable amount of fire power to take down a 9man dc and furioso. Every gun firing at these, will not be firing at my sang guard and baals.]]></description>
