15mm German tank camo. To airbrush or not to airbrush?

Title pretty much says it all. Should I airbrush the camo on my flames of war tanks and transports? I can do it, I have done it, but I've had a konigstiger for a couple of months, and can't get the bits I need for my compressor so I can airbrush again...and I'm getting a little impatient :/

15mm German tank camo. To airbrush or not to airbrush?

Cheers, any idea what the shipping times are normally like?

And also, would one of the regulators with the turny bit at the top work on a compressor? Or do I need something with an electric cut off for the compressor?

I seem to remember that shipping was pretty quick. I'd suggest calling them, I found them to be pretty helpful.

As for your turny bit fixing to the top you'd have to be a bit more descriptive mate.

Re:15mm German tank camo. To airbrush or not to airbrush?

Is that really a concern?

Well I can't speak for the specifics as I am no engineer but I have that same device on my tanked compressor.

I believe these should do the trick as I have no other electronic wizardry to control air pressure.

What sort of compressor do you have?

Airbrushing really makes the German camo pop out, but you can get a pretty good camo effect with a brush. My FoW tanks are all brush painted:

15mm German tank camo. To airbrush or not to airbrush?

I'm using a VERY old kestral compressor, 240v with a max pressure of 42psi. It doesn't have any kind of auto cut off, and even if I was to turn it off every time I stop spraying I'd have to pull the plug as it doesn't even have a switch :/
