6 is definitely too many, because some will die before they get to combat.

2-3 is 20 to 30 points. In the Cron codex, there isn't much you can get for 20 points which gives a comparable advantage, namely you get to strike first. Some will argue that this isn't worth it, however, imho, 20 points to give you first strike is really cheap.

0. Saves 20 points. This might be more significant for you, depending on what the primary army is.

Personally, I always go with 2-3. Then again, I only run 1 unit of wraiths, so I value the strike first more!
