I say "play" because i never really played a battle yet . I was just wondering, how hard a dark elves/WoC to paint for a newbie painter. It looks rather challenging to me to make the dark elves look awesome and i'm not really familiar with painting plated armors and stuff. So how newbie friendly are these armies and would i be able to make them look nifty as a newbie painter . I can paint Warriors of Chaos alright. Me, of all people! :O I'm also planning to start Dark Elves, btw, but well.. Those shouldn't be too hard either.

Aye, I'm a horrible painter.. buuuut.. it's not hard to do. For the armor, I simply did a basecoat-wash (in my case thinned down red paint), and all the other parts can be painted in a quite simple way, too. All I used were basecoats, drybrushes and washes.

Of all these, I think the WoC army has been the easiest to paint. The models for the most part are simple and straight forward. You can come up with some really cool color schemes that will be easy and quick to paint.

Just do a google image search for Warriors of Chaos.
