Been throwing some tau lists round for a few days and seem to be coming close with this all comers list. Let me know what you think. I have 2 lists to pick from.

List 1

Ethreal

24 fire warriors, can't decide wether to split up into 2 x 12 mans or 3 x 8 mans.

10 kroot with sniper round and a hound.

Riptide with ion, stims and early warning override.

2 crisis suits with 2 fusions each, one with target lock.

2 crisis suits with 2 plasma rifles each, both with early warning override.

8 man pathfinder squad.

2 man broadside squad with smart missles and high yield missles. Both with early warning override.
4 missle drones

Skyray with bsf and disruption pods

Skyray with bsf and disruption pods

Basic adl

1477

Tactic is for broadsides and firewarriors to sit behind adl with ethreal in broadsides to create a double pulse bubble.
Skyrays for anti air/meq/av12 popping.
Riptide for soaking fire power and intercepting pie plates against deep strikers and pods.
Plasma crisis suits for meq and intercepting.
Fusion suits deep strike if av14 on the board and remove it.
Piranhas as a back up if av14 needs to go ASAP, ie termies in a land raider. And also for backfield raiding on armour.
Kroot for deploying I'm front of adl as anti pods by spacing out or outflanking if no pods for backfield objective grabbing.

Hammerhead with submunitions bsf and disruption pods, smart missles.
