Pseudo-corsairs because I'm using the CW Eldar list, but mostly DE models (among other bits...)... other than the HS stuff...

On to the list:

Farseer - 115
- Jetbike

Autarch - 150
- MoTLG
- Long Rifle
- Warp Jump Gen.

2 Warlocks - 100
- Jetbikes

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

(Farseer and warlocks each ride with a unit)

2 Fire Prisms - 250

Wraithknight - 240

6 Warpspiders - 134
- Exarch w/ fastshot

8 Striking Scorpions - 146
- Exarch

Total - 1501

Basically the idea is to have an army that can move fast, hit hard, and make use of cover and LOS for hit and run type tactics.

C&C appreciated

Drop the Warp Spider exarch since you can lose him when using the Warp Jump Generator. Might not happen that often, but when it does it really sucks.
I'd also suggest replacing the Striking Scorpion squad with another squad of Warp Spiders or to maximise the units in the existing one. Warp Spiders are just that good. Striking Scorpions will rarely reach close combat without having casualties.
You could also consider changing Fire Prisms to War Walkers, but then again they aren't that mobile.

I'd been considering two units of spiders instead of one and the scorpions. They fit with my overall strategy better anyway. And good point about the exarch. He's not really bringing a whole lot to the unit anyway.

So, removing the exarch and replacing the scorpions leaves me with two units of 7 spiders... and 13 points left to spend on... what?

Your autarch is going to have to fly solo with the mantle. Now, I can see some tricksy stuff with the rifle and jump gen, but a solo T3 model is asking for trouble, even with a re roll to failed cover saves. Helldrakes, vector strikes, GK incinerators, and a plethora of other things can ruin your day. You are MUCH better taking your autarch on a bike. Same points, higher T value, faster movement, and much more corsair esque. If your going solo, go fast and bikesnipe. Never risk a warp jump with a solo autarch, its dangerous enough as it is in a squad! I would advise taking a more melee laughingtaurch, like laser lance on a bike, or a close range kit. If points are tight, take the scorpion chainsword. Dirt cheap, S4 and Ap6, plus the extra attack with your pistol. Nothing fancy, but too good for the cost.

I always try to give my farseers a singing spear, but I know points are tight and it is far from required. That S9 shot at BS5 can really save your bacon but don't force it into your list.

Personally, I am not a fan of warlocks. I do understand their massive utility, particularly on bikes, just not a fan. 1 perils later, combined with Ld8 makes them super unreliable. Try and score protect for 2+ armor on the bikes, then default conceal. Renewer might be fun to heal your seer/autarch/knight.

I love prisms, they are fantastic for the cost albeit a bit unreliable. Just guide them and they do fine. Walkers are also great, but they are slower, far more fragile and expensive. Its up to you, both are great, just depends on what you want. Holo fields are fantastic on prisms, and I would strongly suggest finding the points.

Warp spiders are great, and even 5 regular models can really decimate. If your going to take an exarch, fast shot is the reason to do so, but you get more cost effectiveness just taking another spider(and it saves you a point to make 1500). I normally use stock 5 as drop in and destroy commandos for things like tanks or small elite units. Only use the warp jump if your desperate, it is not worth the risk unless you need it. Between fleet and battle focus I can usually get to where I need to go.

Striking scorpions are ok, but the exarch NEEDS a claw, no exceptions. S6 ap2 at initative will roll over most of your average sarges, and even some of the decent ones. Another thing to take is monster hunter. For the cost, this power is outright criminal. With this power, 10 scorpions can drop a tervigon(shooting+charge) in a single turn. It may not come up often, but when it does it makes the world of difference. Also try to get more scorpions, as they are a weight of dice unit.

Thanks for the advice. This is what I've got now:

Farseer - 120
- Jetbike
- Singing Spear

Autarch - 165
- MoTLG
- Laser Lance
- Firesabre
- Jetbike

2 Warlocks - 100
- Jetbikes

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

6 Windriders - 122
- 2 Shuriken Cannons

(Farseer and warlocks each ride with a unit)

Fire Prism - 140
- Holo-fields

Fire Prism - 140
- Holo-fields

Wraithknight - 240

6 Warpspiders - 114

6 Warpspiders - 114

Total - 1499

I think the two units of spiders will serve me better than one with a unit of scorpions, regardless of how the latter are kitted out. The melee laughingtarch is outfitted the easy he is mainly because I had sixteen points I wasn't really sure what to do with (I mean I could have taken another biker for 17, but that would have ruined the nice 6 man unit thing I've got going on), and because his lance becomes a normal ccw after the first round of close combat.

Looks good only thing is the:
Autarch - 165
- MoTLG
- Laser Lance
- Firesabre
- Jetbike

The laser lance and firesabre is a waste as he can only use one at a time your better off with the lance because you have hit and run with the mantle and should always count as charging.
