The similacrum and laud hailers make extra sense with meltas, but most opponents are going to try and murder the squad after they go for the first time around.

Extra armor is worthless on such a fragile chassis, and pretty much useless in the world of hull points. I guess it can also allow you to snap shoot the girls inside instead of not being able to shoot at all...woo. HK missiles are also points on more girls or guns.
