I would drop that and the lord commissar to take the CCS as previously mentioned. Orders are boss!

The vets in the vendatta's are possibly not going to do a lot of shooting and you would consider reducing their special weapons.

I may have misread the orders, I thought they mainly affected lasguns so I went Commissar to sit with the blob, but I'll take another look at that. Do you think I'll need the 3rd infantry platoon in the blob just for holding a backfield objective or will 20 dudes be enough to hold it generally?

I like a sniper rifle on the last vet as a fun modeling option, but you can give him a plasmagun or leave him with a lasgun.

On the Aegis, consider the Icarus over the quadgun. Now when not intercepting, you can order bring it down and have the unit shoot two twin-linked lascannons and a twin-linked earthshaker cannon.
