I know what I'm after, but I don't know the terminology to search for it, so I'm hoping someone can help me out:

For aircraft canopy's / windows, there's a style where you start with a (for example) grey, airbrush white at the top and a blue-ish at the bottom, or a blue at the top and a white at the bottom... You see, that's the problem, I can't find which way round it's meant to be, and my google-fu is failing me. From the perspective of windows on a 747 or something, what's the correct way?
