I recently developed my Wargamer Aide de Camp device after getting tired of spending too much time flicking through rules and gamesheets for info I need.

I've played HPS games for years, and John Tiller before that, and they are all great!

My device is called 'Wargamer Aide de Camp' so a little different.

Sorry you cant see the YouTube video, there are also about 80-90 videos on my YouTube channel of various wargames ranging from fantasy to historical. To just about everything in between.

You are indeed correct. The device can be adapted to show any individual unit stats from any wargames ruleset. The interchangeable blocks can also show the changing status of units in-game as well. I developed the device because I got so tired of flicking through rulebooks and gamesheets to get the info I needed. Now its on the table either next to the unit or at the table edge. Certainly speeds games up, and also helps people who don't know the rules that well.

Wargamer Aide de Camp is in tooling as we speak and will be available soon. I'll be looking to expand the sticker and info sheets and will be wanting comments and suggestions from the community here to get them as you want them.

Perhaps you could use a smaller reference token near the unit and keep the ADC tile on the table edge. It could be done with the current version too. In fact, you could simply use color-coded ADC tiles, and put a blank colored block next to the unit/terrain piece/whatever.

In development I've tried to get the optimum size to cover as many rulesets and eras as possible. Not too big or too small so the info is unreadable. I take the 'bad eyesight' and 'fat fingers' approach. You have pointed out the versatility of the device as you can use it exactly as you please. Next to units on table or at the table edge. Wargamers are by nature quite creative, and I'm just providing the tool.

The base and blocks are being tooled right now. The artwork templates for the initial insert sheets and stickers exist and are waiting to be printed, but new sets can be adapted for just about anything. I'm up for ideas and comments.

Just a couple of weeks to go now before launch. The website is now being updated quite regularly as news becomes available. There are lots of changes and updates across the whole site.

Also I'd like to know from you guys which rule sets that you would like to see supported, not necessary just the obvious ones. Everything is considered!
