Priests can ride along or fly with the two assault squads with fists, while the Chaplain goes with the squad without a fist. Mephistopheles flies around and shoots things.<br /> <br /> Any questions, concerns, "this list is bad" from Dakkaers? MY only concern is that someone will get sneaky and kill Mephiston first turn for First Blood and Slay the Warlord. I know I have a distinct lack of Plasma but that stuff is pricey and I'd rather have more boys than toys. 				<description><![CDATA[ look, the chaps suck, drop it, drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(637);'>ADL</span>, you are better off just fitting in a storm raven. drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> off your assualt sgt, put it on the sang priest. grab 3 for each of your assualt squads or none at all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>, corbulo is your friend man, not sure how I would fit him here though so you can leave him out. if your taking <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> take 4 heavy weapons. its only 10 pts. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span> drop the tacs and rhinos for more assault squads. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I have the Defence line and the Devestators so that's what I planned on using, it's only 5 pts more, but I don't own a Storm Raven. With the unit built the way it is, I can use the Signum on the Bolter squad member that's manning the Lascannon so it hits on 2s.<br /> <br /> I understand it's in your opinion, but why would you rather have an assault squad that's useful as one unit, in close combat, where as the tactical squads are two units that lend good ranged fire support and one can claim an objective in midfield and hold it while the other claims a home deployment objective. While the three assault squads clear objectives in their deployment zone, claim them and Linebreaker.<br /> <br /> So if I drop the Chaplain (and give the third assault sarge a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span>) what should I spend the 100 pts on?<br /> ]]></description>

No point.<br /> <br /> Rhinos are overcosted. Get rid of these too. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span> Squad loadout is silly too. Take Plasmagun Lascannon.<br /> <br /> Get rid of Fists on ASM. You have 2 Meltas and the Assault Marines are gonna die when the hit assault anyway.<br /> <br /> Drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(637);'>ADL</span>. It has no place in your list. Get a Stormraven.<br /> <br /> Overall, this needs a lot of work. Its not very competitive right now.<br /> <br /> Lucarikx]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I disagree, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> are usually overlooked by the enemy who are more worried about 3-4 units of assault marines w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> sangs and power weapon Sgts. <br /> <br /> flamers can work well with tacs as they are a completely free upgrade, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> can work as well but its meh. I like the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> loadout because its pretty cheap. <br /> <br /> I agree on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(637);'>ADL</span> though, completely. <br /> <br /> I just don't like to take more than 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> squad per <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> army. ]]></description>

Corbulo eats overwatch fire and challenges while <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> and Chaplain smash apart the unit. Consolidation after assault puts Corbulo at the front to eat shooting again before next charge turn 4, 5 and so on.<br /> <br /> The plasma squad with plasma priest goes in the Razorback to try and get in Rapid fire Plasma range of something scary. (6 plasma shots should take a Termi squad down a notch) Plasma cannon squad, I don't really care about. If it kills some stuff, awesome. If it survives to claim a home objective at the end of the game, even more awesome.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ @raiden - I have noticed your a big fan of corbulo!<br /> <br /> My experience which is little is that he dies very easy if you stick him out front. I played against a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> army with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> and insta gibbed him with a bunch of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(417);'>CML</span> shots first turn.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> is useful but 6th a lot of army's bring a lot of high strength shots I wouldn't advise putting all my eggs behind a rule that can easily be countered.]]></description>

And each turn the Stormraven is off the board, Meph is going to take every shot thrown his way.<br /> <br /> And I will go against the crowd and say 1 priest per squad is superfluous. If you have the extra points, I guess its ok but 1 priest can easily cover 2 assault squads.]]></description>

I was thinking I could roll both powers on uh... Telekinesis? The one with the 4+ invuln bubble, and try and get that, cause 4+, 5+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> marines are almost as durable against a hell drake as normal 3+ marines are against anything not AP3. And if they don't have all those ignore cover shenanigans, I can always take Shield of Sanguinius.]]></description>
