so last night I play at my FLGS with my previous list, I went up against a rather nasty imperial guard army with crazy amounts of mech and troops stuck behind an aegis line going to ground, it was a scouring mission where my opponent set up (in his words) a kill box in his lines, then waited for my noob self to ache from coming into firing lines, needless to say the evening was painful, but I did win, which considering his force is off to throne of skulls today I felt quite happy about (side note, the FLGS manager tipped me off for the point I needed to win 9-8)

anyway, with the game being such a hard run thing, and the Salamanders needing a fairly large amount of new recruits afterwards, I thought a reassessment before my next match-up might not be a bad idea, therefore I've got 2 possible lists to run with, Version 1 will cost me a fairly large amount of money to produce, so if Version 2 would be good, I might try that instead, let me know which you think is better, and why, or if you have any other suggestions instead

If your fighting gunlines burn the heretic in your phase. Just as an aside, the new list will cost me about £140-170 to build, while the second will cost £50, while I'm happy to Christmas up the new list, is the second list worth the cost in preparation for the better list (i.e. Should I find £50 now and £90-£120 later or just hold for Christmas and bday?)
