				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys, so i'm interested in trying a semi competitive/semi fun list with my Space Wolves and Eldar (space wolves being primary, Eldar being allied) now the concept is to have an aggressive army pushing them towards their side of the table while my long fangs, Wraithknight and Dire Avenger wave serpent pen them my Wraith Guard (w/ spirit seer for shrouded) wave serpent and 3 drop pods hit them head on. The Warp spiders will be the jack of all trades guys if they are needed somewhere they will go there with their amazing jump ability. so here is the list:<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: <br /> Rune priest: Divination, Telekinesis or biomancy<br />  Elites:<br /> Wolf Guard pack: 1x terminator w/ storm shield & power axe(with the rune priest and long fangs), 2x power armor w/ combi weapons(split up with the 2 drop pods)<br /> <br /> Troops: <br /> Grey Hunters: 2x meltas, drop pod 10man<br /> Grey Hunters: 1x melta, Drop pod 9man (Combi melta <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>)<br /> Grey hunters: 1x plasma, Drop pod 9man (combi Plasma <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span>)<br /> <br /> Heavy support:<br /> Long Fangs: 5x missile launchers (Rune priest & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(225);'>WG</span> Terminator w/ them)<br /> <br /> Eldar Allies:<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>:<br /> Spirit Seer<br /> Troops:<br /> Wraith Guard: D-Scythes, Wave serpent w/ holo fields and scatter laser (Spirit Seer with them)<br /> Dire Avengers: wave serpent w/ Scatter laser holo fields<br /> <br /> Fast attack:<br /> Warp Spiders: 5man, exarch with fast shot & spinneret rifle<br /> <br /> Heavy support<br /> Wraith Knight: 2x HWC<br /> <br /> 1850 pts <br /> <br /> I know not much anti air but I figure I may be able to handle that with the Serpents and prescience my Long fang missiles but we shall see. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Looks solid. I assume your taking just a 5 man avenger squad in the 2nd serpent? <br /> <br /> The warp spiders don't really need an exarch or any of the gun upgrades. It usually best to just take more spiders. Alternatively, just drop the exarch to a regular spider and put a wolf standard on each <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> squad. The standard can swing a combat HEAVILY in your favor if need be. Alternatively, mark of the wulfen has merit, but I would go for the standard first. Another option is to put your rune priest in terminator armor for more protection. <br /> <br /> On your spiritseer, don't be so hasty to just auto take conceal. Sure, it is good to have the primaris be in your plan should you roll a bad power, but you should always roll and try to get protect. 2+ armor wraithguard is all kinds of nasty, and unless your fighting AP2 left and right keep it(and take conceal on top for 2+/5++cover!). Also, don't forget telepathy. Psychic shriek is a fantastic power to add even more ignore cover, ignore armor wounds. Invisibility is worth its weight in gold, and hallucination is not bad either. Do make sure to keep your rune priest and spiritseer far away from each other. The wording on the runic weapon means you will have to attempt to nullify the spiritseer's powers if you are in range.<br /> <br /> For psychic powers on the priest, prescience is the go to. Forwarning and perfect timing are also great in the div tree if your roll either(then just take prescience). You could always try your luck on biomancy once you have prescience. Endurance on long fangs would be hilarious, but then again your probably going to prescience all game. Just options, however. ]]></description>

In a d scythe squad it depends on what you plan on shooting. Going for a riptide is risky, as you need to instadeath it from one of the scythes, and with only 5 and a 5++ the odds are against you. If you fail, the riptide will own the scytheguard. However, killing a unit AND forcing it to shoot something else is pretty awesome. Certainty worth considering based on the opponents list. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ yea, I usually take a farseer always! but I really like the option of wraith Guard...Especially d-scythes because I have melted so many faces with that. the Wraithknight is a king on the battlefield, even with the Grav gun spam going on as long as I keep them away they will be fine. and I feel like he coupled with the warp spiders will put so much pressure on everyone that way my long fangs & Avengers serpents are safe. As for the Rune priest Divination will be my go to because heck twin linked missiles will be nice. 				<description><![CDATA[ Well results from Saturdays tournament.<br /> 1st Game: <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> (Typhus horde)<br /> Victory won all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(260);'>BPs</span> and decimated the opponent <br /> 2nd Game: Eldar Serpent spam w/ 2 wraith knights<br /> Close loss. made a last minute mistake with wraith knight instead of charging his dire avengers(his last troops on the table) I fell back. I destroyed 5 out of the 7 serpents andb oth wraith knights. his victory was 4-2<br /> <br /> 3rd game: Tau Tritide. This was hammer and anvil, I missed my melts and plasma shots from my guys and it ended badly, my rune priestfailed his psychic to kill 3 broad sides and his ethereal. and my guys couldn't finish off the rip tide in battle. <br /> Crushing defeat 8-2 Tau<br /> appreciate the advice guys! ]]></description>
