I think what everyone said about terminators are true, I didn't want to believe it but after watching my land raider get blown up turn one and all my terminators die to str 4 ap5 or str6 mass fire I was pissed. And I thought, evey single 1 that I roll is 40 points and I don't like those odds, however I'm not sure what to get to replace them so I leave it up to you dakka! Here's my list currently 1500 help me to take out the garbage.

1490 I don't want to lose the 2 pred or the storm talon, everything else is variable. I normally just play my brother (eldar) but I'm going to join a gaming group so I want a tac list.

Leaves you with enough points to consider bikes, centurions etc. the possibilities are endless. What do you like? Maybe upgrade the librarian to a super dooper chapter master on bike with shield eternal, AA and thunder hammer. Not very expencive and can take out MC etc.

Sit them behind the ADL for addl cover

I took that to mean there was two grav guns in the unit (I don't play SM so not sure on their weapon options).

It's not completely clear. Might be better to list each unit seperately.

Back on topic, to make the best use of the Iron Hands Tactics IMO you need lots of heavy armoured vehicles and bodies to best use the IWND and FNP.

Using grav cannon cents from a storm raven with skies of fury for 15 rerol to wound grav shots, plus another storm talon, I would drop one pred. I could run an allied space marines to put in a tfc. For 1500, I have a vindicator, I could throw that in which gives me 325 points I could afford a another talon and scouts. I could drop the librarian for 65 points and grab another tac squad without a lascannon which gives me 6 tanks and 2 flyers, I could switch around some points and put my motf on a bike and keep him out of sight behind the 4 tanks moving forward. Is that enough fire power? I'm not sure
