				<description><![CDATA[ <b><span style="font-size: 18px; line-height: normal;"><u>750pt World Eaters</u></span></b><br /> <br /> This will be my first venturing towards the Warp. So opinions and any general help would be much appriciated. I was viewing other army lists and found one that whitedragon helped someone with back in 2009. Taking the advice he gave to the other gentleman I began plodding in the starter list with the new codex.<br /> <br /> Here is what I started with;<br /> <br /> Kharn the Betrayer<br /> <br /> 7x Berzerkers Squad 1<br /> Melta Bombs<br /> Rhino<br /> <br /> 7x Berzerkers Squad 2<br /> Powerfist<br /> Rhino<br /> <br /> Totaling 546pts<br /> <br /> I would like to round this up to 750 pts. Kharne will be riding with Squad 1. I would like thoughts and opinions of the options I have come up with to add to the above list to fill as close to 750pts as possible. 				<description><![CDATA[ Ok, let's try and help you out. I play world eaters (Love the forge world bits!) so will try and help. My list is up if you want to have a look.<br /> <br /> First things first - Rhinos. Absolutely useless in a Khorne list. 6th Ed rules mean you can't get out and charge. So if you start in a transport you are most likely waiting until around turn 3 for combat - which is too late. Also they are flimsy and pathetic. They will be popped after turn one and will force your precious zerkers to walk.<br /> <br /> Secondly - all your other options don't really synergise well.<br /> <br /> Here's what I would do at 750 points  (and this is rough maths in my head)<br /> <br /> Kharn <br /> <br /> 9x zerkers power fist on champ, axes on the rest<br /> 25x cultists<br /> Land raider with dirge caster and combi bolter.<br /> <br /> That's about 740 points I think? It gives you a back field objective holder, and an epic delivery system for kharn and his goons!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Khaine is right. Unless you take 4 or 5 rhinos full of zerkers, they wont see <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>. Unfortunately this is just another instance of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> Codex letting us traitors down by not giving our little buddies a way into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>. Land raiders usually have to be taken.<br /> <br /> If you dont want to take land raiders, the next best thing is making a vindicator wall of 2 or 3 vindicators and sticking the rhinos behind them. This adds significantly more firepower to the list but the vindicators are far less durable on the sides and back and a bit less in the front.<br /> <br /> You must take heed: redundancy is key with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>. If you want Daemon Princes, take 2 or 3 by using an allied detachment. If you want Heldrakes, take 2.<br /> <br /> Mastering the codex boils down to what units to take upgrades on and which ones to take naked, and which units to take 2 or 3 of and which can just be taken as single units.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ With Rhinos you need lots or none. Chainaxes are worthless they only make a difference against Guard, Tau and Eldar who you smash in combat anyway. Why pay points to help you win in a situation you win anyway?<br /> <br /> Personally I like Kharne in a Cultist mob. He does easily enough damage by himself so doesn't need back up from zerkers just ablative wounds to get him there hence Cultists. But in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> with zerkers is cool too as the cultist blob has real issues with mobility.<br /> <br /> Your Bezerkers need a power weapon on the Champ. Power sword is actually not horrid on him due to furious charge, melta bombs help you out against Walkers.<br /> <br /> If you want Rhino rush you want at least 3 hulls on the board at this point level. So starting from your base I would either add a 3rd Bezerker in Rhino squad or what would be even better is add 2 Vindicators. They do 2 things. 1st a huge amount of damage particularly to terminators who you'll struggle against (except Kharne) and 2nd they provide a massive distraction from those Rhinos and  a distraction that is tough to deal with.<br /> <br /> An issue you have is that Berserkers are over costed. In a straight fight and given the Charge Plague Marines beat up on them (both have same number of attacks both wound on 4s he gets rerolls and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span>). The one thing they are supposed to be awesome at. Also compare them to Death Company for only 1 point more they get an extra attack each AND <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span>. 				<description><![CDATA[ Well, you could replace the cultists with a small unit of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, but they probably won't last as long, and that means you probably won't hold that objective.<br /> <br /> Don't get me wrong, I hate cultists! I'm completely anti-cultist. abut I think at this points level, they offer you a pretty tough objective holder. I don't take any myself, but I play at 2K points with 2 Raiders!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Here is my modest opinion:<br /> <br /> Kharn is a sweet <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> choice, his uber deny the which has saved my bacon once or twice. He brings devastating close combat prowess and can survive an entire game.<br /> all this provided he makes it into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> As much as I disdain having weak cultists intermingle with my warriors of Khorne, at a low points cost they can make a nice squishy shield for a strong <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>IC</span>. However you could also just take a squad of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSMs</span> and trade boltguns for Close Combat weapons (model them with a fantasy axe for that khornate feel!). <br /> <br /> I take my Kharn with Berzerkers inside of a Land Raider. Drop them near a held objective and have them fight whatever is sitting on it while you worry about other objectives.<br /> <br /> Which squad would you attach Kharn with? You could save on meltabombs as Gorechild tears armour like tissue paper. Redundancy is the key word with chaos as another poster mentioned. Never put all your faith in one unit. Some dedicated long range firepower could go a long way in forcing your opponent to play the close combat game with you. <br /> <br /> final point... I have never had much use for Chain Axes... Except necron warriors. Which you probably do not want your expensive berzerkers fighting anyway. 				<description><![CDATA[ Just thought of this as well but maybe instead of the cultists to hold a backfield objective would there be something else that would fit for a gameplan of just killing everything that the person could bring to the table at this points level. Its not really a list for competative games. So if I could at least go for a draw while collecting as many skulls and blood as possible would still make me happy as well as the always greedy Bood God. 				<description><![CDATA[ Khaine's advice is spot on, you are playing at a very awkward point level for a khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> army. Your troops are expensive and lack a proper delivery method (unless you invest in a landraider as mentioned). <br /> <br /> Definitely drop the axes for something more useful.... anything.<br /> <br /> Keep in mind a landraider's capacity is 10, so you can only fit kharn and 9 berzerkers.<br /> <br /> You could always use the extra points to drop the cultist squad to 20 strong and use the left over points to add a second 10 man cultist squad to hold an additional objective/be an annoyance.]]></description>
