its kind of funny, it seems that GW wants vets to be CC oriented tbh, 10 man can take what? 2 plasma guns and 1 heavy weapon. They can all take combo-weapons now though thanks to the FAQ I give 5 of mine plasma pistols to make them gunslingers. Then add Azrael, a librarian, and a sergeant with power weapon + some special weaps and they can be a huge pain haha. It's a ton of points but it's also a ton of fun sometimes (full BS overwatch killing a charging Daemon Prince can be hilarious)! Put them all in a drop pod and use the warlord trait that gives them FNP within 3" of an objective. Then prescience and another power to make them shooty-tastic, 4++, FNP vets right on an objective. It's fun, if not a little silly.
