Depending on opportunity and where they'd have the greatest effect. Utilising Phased Reinforcements most likely. Also could be used to tarpit.<br /> Deathmarks + Despairtek -- deepstriking. Aim to intercept enemy deepstrikers or key enemy units and assassinate them. <br /> Tomb Blades -- zipping around. Enemy armour being the primary target, but still being quite capable at taking on infantry. <br /> Immortals (Non-scythe) -- teleporting around with Despairtek + Zahndrek. Killing enemy infantry, and being able to harass armour. Zahndrek providing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(136);'>USR</span>'s to units that need them. Can also cap objectives after harassment. <br /> Immortals (Scythe) -- dropped on objectives or where they're needed. Could be dropped as an extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> squad with Zahndrek 'Tank Hunters'.<br /> Scythe - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> support + can fire on ground targets for added damage.<br /> Canoptek Spyders + Obyron -- teleporting around with his ghostwalk mantle. Could tarpit, or engage <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span>, also ok for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> again. <br /> Doomsday Ark - providing long range fire support, another major threat. S9 AP1 good enough to break <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span> blobs, killing massed infantry or splatting tanks. Basically something to attract the enemy's attention as well, except this one is on the other side of the board.<br /> <br /> I wanted everything in the list to be a major threat to an opponent, and leave him confused + on the back foot. I also liked the idea of using less common units (Deliberately left out Wraiths, Scarabs and Annihilation Barges), and took Flayed Ones + D-ark as well.  <br /> <br /> What do people think of this list and how effective do you think it would be?<br /> <br /> Thanks<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ D-ark designed to remain static for best shooting which doesn't really fit with your list. Only a single night scythe? I'd go for at least two. Also why have 10 immortals and a lord in the scythe. 5 man units only for last turn dropping onto objectives.<br /> <br /> I get you want to avoid the Anni barge, wraith type list, but 19 flayed ones is not a great use of 250 points. Beef up the deathmarks to a decent size and get a third troop choice in there.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'll answer points in turn - <br /> <br /> I could get Scarabs out of the spyders, but I don't really want to. I've seen so many scarab farm lists and scarab spam and I don't want to imitate that at all.<br /> <br /> Considering I was planning my list to be filled with threats, I believed a D-ark on the other side of the table to all my other units who are either <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> or 24" shooting, would either make my enemy have to ignore it or attempt to wipe it out. If he deepstrikes anything near it, my Deathmarks would intercept. It's bait/ a distraction. If ignored, it can actually provide fire support. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(376);'>MMm</span>, I only wanted the Night Scythe for some limited <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> really, providing support against ground targets is secondary. Therefore I don't want to really be putting any more points into air. <br /> <br /> Well, I was going to have the 10 immortals + lord in the scythe to be dropped early in the game, not just last turn. So that they could either cap and hold objectives, contest others or if it's a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(316);'>kp</span> game - taking out vulnerable units. <br /> <br /> I may have to consider the 19 flayed ones, but I was just thinking about the 76 odd attacks on the charge at S5 I3 with Zahndrek's 'Furious Charge'. You then have a dead D-ark and deathmarks totally out of position for the potential loss of one enemy unit. That's not really fitting the threat overload.<br /> <br /> Flayed ones, you need to a really good charge to get all of them into combat in the same turn. You also have to face a turn of shooting and overwatch before they get into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> - you then only go at I3 with pretty poor armour. Anyone I4 or above is going to go through that squad before they get to swing I fear. With the D-Lord in there as well that's a pretty ineffectual 450 pts to my mind unless attacking low initiative units with poor armour saves. That's a pretty narrow niche for them. One unit of wraiths is hardly spam and will give you so much more utility.<br /> <br /> Other units to consider could be a monolith for screening/teleporting. A C'tan for the redeployment ability. Triarch stalker for twin-linking arounr 13 fun. None are massively competitive but that doesn't seem to be the point of this list.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I get why the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(600);'>FO</span>'s + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(344);'>DM</span>'s are slow after <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span>, but that's all... <br /> <br /> Despairtek + Immortals teleporting.<br /> The other Immortals could re-embark on the Night Scythe. <br /> Spyders are teleporting with Obyron.<br /> Tomb Blades aren't slow. <br /> <br /> D-Ark doesn't move, but doesn't need to. <br /> <br /> Would the two units, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(600);'>FO</span>'s and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(344);'>DM</span>'s being slow affect that much?<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You have a Cryptek and Lord in the same unit this is not possible with 1 royal court (Obyron doesn't get a court).<br /> <br /> Tomb blades are max unit size 5 <img src="/s/i/a/dec8d79950a36218cfae9200a43fa59f.gif" border="0"> and a 50% increase in cost for +1 armour save isn't worth it. Keep them cheap. If they could be taken in tens then they'd be worth it.<br /> <br /> As for massive threat overload. This really isn't it. It is massive random units moving slowly towards me that I can easily deal with overload.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok, dropping the extra Tomb Blade (Don't know why I put an extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>), dropping the storm Cryptek from list, also dropping Shield Vanes from Tomb Blades. <br /> <br /> That leaves me with 95 pts spare. Any ideas to help tie the list together then?<br /> <br /> I do want to take the Flayed Ones, even if not Competitive.
