				<description><![CDATA[ Hi all, I would appreciate advice on this starter list for Orks. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>:<br /> Big Mek, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span>, bosspole, heavy armour  95<br /> <br /> Troops:<br /> 20 shoota boyz, 2 big shootas, nob with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> + bosspole  170<br /> 20 shoota boyz, 2 big shootas, nob with bosspole  145<br /> <br /> Fast Attack:<br /> Deffkopta with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rokkits  45<br /> Deffkopta with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> rokkits  45<br /> <br /> This totals 500 exactly. The bosspole and armour on the Big Mek were mainly to use up the remaining 10 points I had.<br /> <br /> I intended to run the Mek with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob boyz so he could decline challenges and allow the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> to be used in combat. General tactics would be advance while shooting infantry, with the koptas trying to take out any armour.  The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> would be ready to engage anything heavier that the rokkits couldn't deal with before they died.<br /> <br /> Any advice or hints for this list would be greatly appreciated.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ you don't really need another powerklaw unless your really worried about a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> in 500 points, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> drop the boss pole on the mek and give a Big choppa to the other nob it'll do fine against light vehicles if need be.<br /> <br /> Solid list , I like to run 5 Lootas personally<br /> Deftcoptas are next on the list for me aswell.<br /> Are you planning on outflanking the coptas or just scouting up?<br /> ]]></description>

What would you drop, in order to take them?<br /> <br /> As for the koptas, I wouldn't be able to say for sure what my usage of them would be as I would probably change it depending on the terrain I have to play with.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would definitely go for the second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> at the expense of the Bosspole and Armor on the Mek as well as a Big Shoota or two. <br /> <br />  Lootas are very good, and you could exchange the Deffkoptas for a smaller unit of them. Otherwise the list is fine if you get that second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Don't try and edit your list around gaining an extra <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, chances are it'll probably die before it even gets a chance to be used, personally I would try and squeeze in a big choppa if you could, although not as powerful, still gives +2S, (S6 and S7 on the charge!) I would swap out the Rokkits for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> on the deffkoptas, bit more reliable. <br /> <br /> Good list so far, I dig it.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If I remove the rokkits from the koptas, and drop the excess stuff from the Mek,  I would gain more anti-infantry firepower and a second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span>, but loose mobile anti-armour firepower/distraction. </div><br /> <br /> For either list I would hope the mob with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> can engage the heavy infantry / characters to avoid the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob getting challenged out, while the other mob with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> looks for armour. <br /> <br /> What do you think about the modified lists?<br /> <br /> (On the other hand, as I will eventually be adding lootas to the force at higher points, getting them now and switching between them wouldn't hurt at all!)<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

This is what I would take. The loota's range and potential for shot volume make them a great choice at this level.
