Imperial Guard Ordnance Maintenance Company [Apocalypse Formation]

Hello, everyone. I recently have been accruing models to finish the TO&E for the 1st Concordian Armored Regiment, and realized that one of the major subunits that an Armored Regiment would have is a maintenance and repair company / field workshop, similar to the Ordnance Maintenance Companies used by the US Army during World War II. Having thought about this, I realized that such a company would probably only be fielded in an Apocalypse-style battle (because it is unlikely to be on the front line for a smaller engagement such as a normal 40k game). So I am writing this datasheet for it. What I need from you all is any idea, criticism, thought, or input in order to bring this up to a playable standard, so that I may get it accepted for play in my local area, with luck.

Formation requirements:
Space Marine* (used to represent the more hardcore Adeptus Mechanicus overseers):
1 Master of the Forge (represents the Magos Technicus/Senior Enginseer) with a Servo-Harness; this means he may not have a Conversion Beamer. May not choose from the Space Marine Relics list.
0-3 Techmarines (represents the advisors and higher-ranking enginseers, think techpriest sergeants)
*May only use Chapter Tactics (Iron Hands).

Imperial Guard (used to represent repair crews and vehicles, as well as lower ranking Mechanicus adepts):
0-1 Infantry Platoon (the close-defense platoon assigned to the maintenance company, not always present)
1+ Atlas Recovery Vehicle
1+ Chimera Armored Transport
0+ Trojan Utility Vehicles
3+ Techpriest Enginseers with 3-5 servitors each (Appropriately modeled Imperial Guardsmen may "count as" a techpriest and crew, to represent the specialized training given to the Imperial Guard's technical experts).

Formation bonuses:
Arcane Cybermancy:
Because of the Mechanicus' long familiarity with the machines requiring repair, these specialized units are incredibly well equipped and armed with arcane knowledge to make their tasks easier.
Every model in the formation with the Blessing of the Omnissiah special rule receives +1 to the roll required for repairs.

The Ring of Iron:
A longstanding, ring-shaped shipyard orbiting Mars, the Ring of Iron has also come to represent the conceptual wall of separation between the dominion of the Martian Cult and the remainder of the Imperium. The Cult Mechanicus has long kept secret its technical know-how and deep sciences away from the prying eyes of Imperial cult members. Only in their absence can the knowledge be freely applied.
Repair rolls can be made at the start of the allied turn rather than during the shooting phase so long as no models are within 6" of the unit conducting the repairs that are not either being repaired or part of this datasheet.

Recovery under Fire:
If an Atlas recovery vehicle is in base contact with, or towing, a wrecked High Command vehicle unit (such as a Warlord from an Armored Battlegroup) or a wrecked Superheavy, do not count the unit as Destroyed when determining victory points at the end of the game.

I like the idea also but if you are going whole hog and inventing new rules, why not invent a new Mechanicus profile instead of just using a Space Marine?

Extra special rules are needlessly complicated, and the three that I have, I think, reflect the nature of a maintenance company without undue hassle.

Besides, is a Senior Enginseer really worth all of the gubbins that, say, a Magos Myrmidon would have?
