Could also put some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(563);'>MGs</span> on one of the assault squads if you were worried about the lack of low <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> firepower. Your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFCs</span> will do much more work on average than flamer assault marines <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>.<br /> <br /> A question for you. Why are you allying <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>? What do they bring to your army? Could a rune priest on a bike be better?<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Not sure I agree with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> being a better ally - have you aver played against bikes and jumpers (blood rodeo 5th) that honestly understood how to run the army.  The synnergy is undeniable and they are just stupid good together.<br />   While this is not that, it works in much the same fashion.  You have less forward models on the board, but your support is an order of magnitude better.<br /> The flamers are not the best choice, but two games in a row I faced nids and the tervigons spawning gaunts was more than the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>tfcs</span> could handle.  He ended up tying me up with gaunts and beating me badly the first game.  I won the second, but he should have.  Just too many gaunts to handle. <br /> <br /> I was thinking fear and another ability for the libby - maybe I should go divination and stick him on a bike...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I used to run a similar list.  However, I actually ran Dante + Sang Guard.  Normally I don't think they're that impressive of a unit, however, it's dead simple to drop them in a place they're protected between the mobile bike squads and their no scatter ability.  Further, they last much longer than normal, since the bikes and Sang Guard attract similar weapon fire, providing great target saturation.  Between Deepstrike, Outflank, and army-wide 12"+ movement you can put on a lot of pressure.<br /> <br /> I'd cut combi-gravs, and change out the two Storm Talons for a Storm Raven (It's better <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span>, and with two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> you don't need AH).  Also, I ran a Chaplain over a Librarian, since it seemed difficult to get the Librarian in range of a unit that wants Prescience consistently (since the assault squad doesn't really benefit from Prescience) while keeping him in an assault squad.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(274);'>YMMV</span>, of course.<br /> <br /> And definitely go with the priests.  They make a big difference.  Cut a melta bike squad if you have to.  To be honest, most vehicles that you need melta for don't really scare you.  Land raiders, in particular, kill about a bike per turn.  That's almost nothing for a ~250 pt investment.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Prescience is very good on 10 assault marines.  31 rerollable attacks on the charge plus <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(627);'>HoW</span>? Yes, please.  A squad of prescienced assault marines will kill ~ 4 space marines and ~ 2 centurions on the charge - 5 marines and 3 centurions if you count the librarian.  That is not shabby at all.<br /> <br /> I am looking at trying to squeeze the priests in.  I may drop the combi gravs, a melta squad, and get 2 priests. <br /> <br /> The meltas aren't so much for vehicles as just general high strength ap1.  It is my experience that guys will sometimes pull out a unit that you never expected - say sanguinary guard (haha) - that just die outright to the melta, but get a 2+ against everything else in my army.<br /> <br /> The real answer to my problem might be 2 runic armor rune priests on bikes and 2 drop pods of grey hunters...<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well, it was an oversimplification - they are true utility - there are still a couple of tri land raider <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> lists running around here and at least two two land raider builds.  The melta kills Centurions, Land raiders, and everything else it hits.  Plasma is great - better than melta overall in 6th <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span> - but the fast, mobile melta gives me the ability to deal with heavy armor when needed and heavy infantry as well.<br /> <br /> My problem is that if I drop 1 squad of melta bikes, the other is half as effective on its own.  I guess I could drop one of the grav squads - man, this is difficult.  I am not sure I can pull this off and be competitive in my area.  Without melta, I just can't cope with 3 land raiders. <br /> <br /> The tri land raider guy builds a pocket between his land raiders to hide the shield in.  Maybe I can hope to snipe him with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>tfcs</span> - I just don't know.  I do know that while in playtesting, grav is pretty good against vehicles (not great but acceptable in volume) it was horrible against venerable landraiders with 4++.<br /> <br /> The meltas allowed me to remove roughly a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>lr</span> a turn starting on 2.
