Father & Son Hobby progress ( woc & "o&g)

Hey Guys,

I've has a lot of fun playing warhammer with you all, and your great looking armies. It's really made me excited about working on my own stuff. I really only steal time to sit down with all this stuff everyone in awhile. As my son grows more independent it happens more and more often that we can work on models together.

The other day, he asked to use gold paint and I set him up with a wet pallet and let him use one of my GW pallets. It worked out really well, and after that he wanted to paint an old necron model that he found:

He does pretty well for a four year old. I was really surprised by how evenly he got the the paint without having it so thick it obscured the fine detail.

I continue to plug along on some chariots and character models.

Shadow Mage: I did it a bit ago, for a roleplaying game with Casey and Ashely that was a lot of fun till it disolved. I'm repainting the metal and ont to work out some object source lighting effects...

Tzeentch Banner: This what happens when you hobby while drinking. I was suppsoe to be working on something else while I broke this model. Rather than repairing it, I freehanded a banner banner. I imagine the bird man is pleased.

Rumor has it that the next edition of warhammer is not to far away. Orcs are likely to be one of the first armies to get a book, and if that is the case my son will be ready with an appropriate model for when they get their ridiculous cannon chariot. We worked on this conversion together, under his manic direction.

So, not sure how to really describe this. You may be asking yourself how he manages to ride a boar while using a great weapon and a spear at the same time. I am more curious about why he has three arms.
