500pts Eldar Footdar list

The idea with this list is essentially to overwhelm the opponent with manueverable, powerful guardians. 41 bodies is a lot at this points level and I have a pretty solid amount of firepower. In most games the basic idea is to have one squad hang back and use cover to mitigate incoming fire, while claiming an objective in my deployment zone or the midfield, while the other advances with the Autarch using his 3+ save and Look out Sir! to greatly reduce the casualties I take corssing the board. There is a good amount of firepower, including a fusion gun for particularly tough targets and 4 Shuriken Cannons for light vehicles and monstrous creature duty. Against an assaulty army like Orks I can use battle focus to unleash up to 41 shots per squad into the advancing Orks and then retreat out of feasible charge range. I should also be pretty strong against elite troops with bladestorm - most people wouldn't take Centurions or Terminators at this points level but it is possible and they should be shredded quite effectively by mass shuriken fire. The main thing that worries me is the possibility of something like a Manticore, because I can't use the Autarch to reduce casualties against a barrage weapon and it can lay out enough templates to maul my guys even if they're spread out. My main defense against that would probably be creative use of cover and crossed fingers. Once I have a shot at side armour I should be in the clear, I just have to get there.

HQ
Autarch, Fusion Gun - 80
Troops
20 Guardians, two Shuriken Cannon Platforms - 210
20 Guardians, two Shuriken Cannon Platforms - 210
Total: 500

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Nobody has any suggestions? I'm sure I probably missed something important, help a noob out!

Re:500pts Eldar Footdar list

This seems like an all eggs in one basket type of army, which I'm generally not too fond of. I like the overall idea, but I'd reduce the guardians to two blobs of 10 with shuriken cannons. Jetbikes, wraithguard, a wraithlord, some warp spiders or shining spears, or any combination of these would add a huge amount to your army. For the price of one of those blobs you can have a 5-man jetbike squad and a bare-bones wraithlord. Not an ideal setup, but at 500 pts that S8T8 unit is really tough to deal with and the jetbikes can do a lot more damage offensively at this point level. That gives you 3 scoring units and increases your offense. Granted you're no longer fielding 41 bodies, but I'd take 1 wraithlord and 20 guardians over 30 guardians any day. Besides he's a beast in CC, which could be a huge advantage against even AV14, as he can at least wound them.
