My HQ is pretty beefy, able to get stuck -in with some nice graviton shootiness to make sure the opponent is swinging slowly. His T5 will prevent most insta-death.

4 troop selections including the bike unit thanks to the Chapter Master

Dreadnaughts drop in and open transports or burn something, the thunderfire cannons and all other long ranged firing support them. The bikes and master also support them. The tactical rhino and assault pod go after long range OBJ to deny or capture.

AAA is for the devastators and ADL and all other TL firing, same goes for MC's but also would include the graviton guns and tactical lascannons.

I'll go down the list:

Chapter Master: Thunder Hammer > Relic Blade, Shield Eternal > Storm Shield

Dreadnoughts: Ironclad > Regular, Multi-melta > Lascannon.

Tacticals: Razorbacks = No. Mix it up a bit too, try scouts in Land Speeder Storms; they're pretty good.

Assault Marines = No. (Unless BA and therefore scoring)

Devastators with flakk = No., Storm Talons = Yes.
