New Daemon Flying Circus with Be'lakor 2k points

When I saw the rules for brining Be'lakor into 40k I had to find a spot for him in my flying circus. Much like Fateweaver I believe his strength will be in supporting the rest of the army (and casting puppet master every turn I love that spell).

I guess it's easy to replace the normal Black Mace DP since the points are close. I'm not sure how to get the points to work if I swap him for LOC...what do you guys think? Where will you use this new option?

single FOC

Kairos Fateweaver
Lord of Change Lesser Reward Greater Reward x2

Pink Horrors x11
Plaguebearers x10

Daemon Prince Tzeentch Wings Armor Greater Reward x1 Exalted Reward ML x2
Daemon Prince Tzeentch Wings Armor Greater Reward x1 Exalted Reward ML x2

Allies

Be'lakor
Cultists x10
Heldrake

1999

Yeah, that's pretty much how'd I'd run it at 2k. Though I've migrated over to the Slaanesh camp for marks. As for Be'lakor, Invisibility and Puppet Master every turn.

What made you switch over to Slaanesh? I've never tried their DP's on paper they don't seem as good, plus you don't get wings on your HQ to open them up as heavies.

Yeah, the Keeper is a good backfield protector though. Slaanesh DPs have much better shooting; mainly because they have the lash which can't be denied. With Eldar's substantial psychic D, other Daemons and still Rune Priests flooding the meta, you need that offense.

I'll say this, when I progressed from an amateur player to a tournament player, I learned that the flying circus is a very defensive list. When played properly, you win by denying your opponent targets by flying usually everything but a grimoired Fateweaver off the board until late game when it's time to contest all the objectives. Even when not flying off the board, you need the offense Slaanesh provides. It's just a better fit for this style of play. Why waste points on durability upgrades when you're going to spend 2/3 of the game off the board or behind LOS blocking terrain? Tzeentch is definitely playable in casual play, and like any brand of flying circus, if you roll the right powers you can dominate even in tournament play, but consistency is the key and that's why I find Slaanesh to be the competitive god of choice.
